Our armchairs combine ergonomics, comfort, and timeless design with natural materials such as linen, wool, and leather. They are designed to provide a comfortable seating experience over the long term and are suitable for everything from living rooms to reading nooks.

How seat height and seat depth are perceived greatly affects comfort and how the furniture is used in everyday life.

Seat height: Seat height determines how easy it is to sit down and stand up, but also how active or relaxed the sitting position becomes. A lower seat height provides a more relaxed, lounge-like feel, while a higher seat height facilitates shorter sitting periods and a more upright position, for example at a dining table or while working.

Seat depth: Seat depth affects how far you can sink into the furniture. A deeper seat provides room to lean back and is well-suited for relaxation, while a shallower seat depth offers better back support and is suitable for a more active sitting position.

Together, seat height and seat depth create a balance between support and relaxation, and your choice should be based on how and for how long the furniture will be used.

Natural materials like wool and linen in denser weaves are particularly durable and well-suited for furniture that sees frequent use.
Wool has a natural resistance to dirt and wear, while linen offers a vibrant look and ages beautifully over time.
Leather is also a very durable option that withstands both spills and everyday wear and tear, while developing a unique patina with use.
The choice of upholstery is therefore a matter of both function and feel.

First and foremost, remove stains immediately. Blot the stain with a white cloth; do not rub. There are specialized stain removers available for tough stains (be sure to test them on a less visible part of the fabric first before treating the affected area). If this doesn’t help, we recommend taking the upholstery to a professional laundry or dry cleaner.

In our armchairs, we consistently use pure natural materials such as horsehair, natural rubber, and seabird feathers. These materials are chosen to provide a balanced combination of comfort, resilience, and long-lasting durability, while also allowing the furniture to breathe and age naturally. We work almost exclusively with pure natural materials that are part of the natural cycle. By sticking to renewable raw materials, we reduce our carbon footprint. Of course, no endangered plants or animals are used in production. For the lining in our sofas, we use everything from rubberised horsehair and wool felt to natural rubber and seabird feathers. Most of our armchairs have removable covers, making it easy to replace them as needed. This significantly extends the furniture’s lifespan. We are constantly working to find better and more sustainable materials and utilize external certification to ensure quality.
