Shelves & shelving systems

Our solid oak shelves are very popular, closely followed by solid birch. Then you can choose to surface treat the shelves with soap, oil or pigmented oil to further enhance an expression that fits the room.

You can mix and match shelves and brackets according to your wishes and needs. With our flexible shelving systems, it's easy to create a perfect storage solution, whether it's a small shelf for the study, a small shelf next to the bed or an entire wall of shelves for the living room.

Our brackets have a high load capacity but the exact maximum load varies depending on the material of the wall and how you choose to attach the shelf.

Start by finding out what type of wall you have to know whether you need a regular drill or an impact drill. Then measure where you want to drill and mark with a pencil, making sure to check that there are no cables or wires where you want to drill. Make sure you have the right size drill bit and plug. Once the hole is drilled, use a hammer to push the plug in, then screw the shelf in place and check with a spirit level that it hangs straight. It may look slightly different depending on the storage solution you choose.

It depends on what you plan to store on your shelf. A good depth for a bookcase intended for ordinary books is about 25 centimetres. If you also want to have space for larger books and other interior details, the shelves may need a depth of at least 40 centimetres.
