Care advice
Unpacking
Use scissors rather than a knife to avoid damaging the rug. Once unwrapped, vacuum thoroughly to remove excess wool.
Material & properties
The rug is crafted from premium wool with long, strong fibers. Some initial shedding is normal and does not affect the rug’s quality. If you notice a loose thread, trim it carefully — do not pull.
Vacuuming
Use a vacuum cleaner without a rotary brush. Avoid heavy beater bars or the lowest suction setting, as these may damage the fibers.
Stain removal
Use only warm water and blot gently. For stubborn spots, add a small amount of mild soap. The natural oils in the wool help resist stains, so preserve them by cleaning gently. For spills, dab carefully with a microfiber cloth. For a deeper clean, professional rug cleaning is recommended
