Vacuum the upholstery separately as needed. Avoid vacuuming the down filling, as the feathers may escape through the cover. Remove any stains as soon as they occur. Use a white cloth—do not rub the cloth, but simply let it absorb the stain. There are stain removers available for stubborn stains; be sure to test them on a less visible part of the fabric first before treating the affected area.

The frame is made of solid wood and benefits from gentle care. For daily maintenance, it is usually sufficient to wipe the surface with a slightly damp cloth and avoid harsh cleaning agents. Depending on the finish you’ve chosen, the furniture may need to be refreshed over time. Soaped and oiled surfaces can be re-treated to restore their luster and protection, while lacquered surfaces primarily require regular cleaning.

A footstool allows you to rest your legs and distribute your body weight more evenly, which relieves pressure on your back and hips during long periods of sitting—perfect for reading, relaxing, or watching TV.

Solid oak or birch is used for the frame and legs, ensuring stability and durability. The wood can be paired with various finishes to match the rest of your furniture.

We work almost exclusively with pure natural materials that are part of the natural cycle. By sticking to renewable raw materials, we reduce our carbon footprint. Of course, no endangered plants or animals are used in production. For the stuffing in our footstools, we use everything from horsehair to natural rubber and seabird feathers. Most of our armchairs have removable upholstery, making it easy to replace it when needed. This significantly extends the furniture’s lifespan. We are constantly working to find better and more sustainable materials and utilize external certification to ensure quality.
