The production takes place on a small scale, with skilled craftsmen who employ their extensive knowledge and long professional experience. The leather is 100% vegetable tanned cowhide that is dyed with environmentally certified dyes. Vegetable tanning means, among other things, that the hide is free of toxins, such as chromium, which is otherwise commonly used in leather tanning.
